First, open Discord from the app, or visit discord.com. Click on the Server icon, then click on the setting(gear icon) under the text channels. now click on “Permissions”. Enable the Private channel. Afterward, click on “Advanced Permissions”, then disable all the permissions and click on Save changes.

1. Open Discord

First, open the Discord application or log in from any browser.

2. Click on the Server icon

Next click on the Server icon from the menu on the left side, as shown in the below image.

Now click on the gear icon under the text channel, as shown in the below image.

4. Click on “Permissions”

On the next page click on “Permissions” from the menu.

5. Enable the Private channel

On the main screen, you will see Channel Permissions. Click on the Enable button beside the Private channel option.

6. Click on “Advanced Permissions”

Now at the bottom of the screen, there is an advanced permission option. Click on it.

7. Disable all the permissions & click on Save changes

Lastly, Disable all the permission by clicking on the red color cross bottom and then click on Save changes.

Note: If you make your channel Private, your channel will be hidden from all other members in Discord. They can’t join or see your channel. If you don’t want that to happen then don’t make your channel Private just disable all the permission.
